Hydrological Surveys   Fathoms employs a variety of techniques and equipment whilst undertaking hydrological surveys for both river monitoring and coastal investigations. Aspects within this field include: • Water sampling • Water quality monitoring (both real-time and In-situ) • Current and wave monitoring • Current velocity and direction graphs, with vector plots. • Chemical testing • Thermal plume mapping surveys • River flow profiling with stage discharge calculations. • Dye tracing • Drogue tracking All of Fathoms survey equipment is well maintained and regularly calibrated, thus reducing the risk of equipment failure and ensuring that the survey results are of the highest quality and accuracy. Using specialist software Fathoms can present the data in a wide variety of formats depending on requirements. All fieldwork, processing and reports are undertaken by qualified hydrographic surveyors. |
