A small singlebeam survey near Birmingham

Our smallest survey project this year was performing a singlebeam survey of an inland lagoon near Birmingham. Fathoms ‘Boat-in-a-bag’ was deployed for this as access to the site was very restricted. One of the main concerns for our client was the nature of the bed material therefore it was important that site disturbance was minimised. Risk Assessments & Safe Systems of Work were provided to the client prior to survey commencement, with full PPE worn throughout the survey.
